Report: Jaguars have had Leonard Fournette trade talks
The Jacksonville Jaguars may be preparing to move on from one of their key offensive players.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jaguars have engaged in trade talks surrounding running back Leonard Fournette, the fourth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Jaguars have had trade discussions with other teams regarding RB Leonard Fournette, league sources tell ESPN. Fournette is due $4.16 million in base salary in 2020. It's a situation that bears watching as this week's draft approaches.

Fournette has been an effective back for the Jaguars. He had 1,674 all-purpose yards last year, and emerged as a major threat in the passing game as well as on the ground. His salary and Jacksonville’s status as a rebuilding team with cap issues could lead to him being moved.
Fournette recently called for his team to bring in a new quarterback. Not only are the Jaguars poised to ignore his request, but they may not even keep Fournette around for 2020.
