The shooting that occurred at a Madden video game tournament in Jacksonville on Sunday was located less than two miles from where the Jaguars play their home games, and team owner Shad Khan released a statement expressing sympathy for all those who have been affected.
Khan said in his statement that he is “heartbroken” for the victims and their families.

Details are still being sorted through, but the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirmed that multiple people were shot and transported to a local hospital. One person who was at the scene of the shooting described the horrifying scene in an exclusive interview with Larry Brown Sports.
