Jaguars’ Yannick Ngakoue, Brandon Linder separated after locker room exchange
Things boiled over for the Jacksonville Jaguars after their latest loss.
According to Mark Long of the Associated Press, defensive end Yannick Ngakoue and center Brandon Linder were having a verbal exchange at the start of the open locker room period, and had to be separated as reporters were entering the room.
Frustration boiled over for the Jaguars:

ESPN’s Michael DiRocco added that shouting could be heard coming from the showers for several minutes after the argument was broken up.
Frustration boiling over for losing teams isn’t exactly abnormal. The Jaguars fell to 4-8 after their 28-11 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, and their season is already lost. For it to happen as the media is entering the locker room is a sign of serious dysfunction, however, and might factor into some key job decisions coming at the end of the season.
