The New York Jets probably made a mistake in making such a big deal out of Sam Darnold’s “seeing ghosts” comments, because he’s now being constantly trolled over them.
Jets coach Adam Gase was furious that ESPN broadcast a mic’d up Darnold’s comments, which only further amplified the young quarterback’s viral remarks.
The Jacksonville Jaguars took full advantage, and after Darnold struggled in a loss, the stadium PA started trolling.

Darnold was sacked eight times and threw three interceptions against the Jaguars. It’s fair to say that the problems that he had against the Patriots carried over, and the young quarterback looks rattled right now.
The music wasn’t the only reminder Darnold got about his comments in Jacksonville. This one may be haunting him for a while — no pun intended.
