Jake Fromm seems relaxed about falling in NFL Draft

Jake Fromm

Jake Fromm’s fall to the fifth round of the NFL Draft surprised some, but the quarterback seems fairly relaxed about it.

Fromm told FOX 5 Atlanta that he’s used to being overlooked in his career, and this was no different.

“For me, my entire career, I’ve always kind of been the guy kind of left out,” Fromm said. “The guy overseen. The guy that’s not tall enough, not strong enough. Can’t do this, can’t do that. For me, it’s just showing up to work and competing and doing whatever I can to help the team win.”

Fromm is going to a team in the Buffalo Bills that has a long-term starting quarterback, so his only real chance at playing is if there’s an injury. He was hurt by a mediocre NFL Combine, and teams aren’t enamored with his subpar physical traits. Still, his new GM seems to be a big fan, so he has a chance to stick.
