Jamaal Charles made his season debut in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, receiving just two carries and playing 11 snaps despite declaring himself 100 percent healthy. Now that he has suffered no setbacks and been able to work through the bye week, Charles says he is officially back.
On Wednesday, Charles hinted that he expects to be a big part of the offense this weekend against the Oakland Raiders.
Jamaal Charles says he's just as fast as before. Knew he wasn't gonna play a lot vs PIT. Says he's ready to go, "training wheels" coming off

Charles tore his ACL last October, and it was the second time he has suffered that injury during his career. He eventually returned to form after tearing his ACL in 2011, but that will be a lot more difficult to do at age 29.
In all likelihood, the Kansas City Chiefs will continue to give Spencer Ware, who is averaging an impressive 5.4 yards per carry this season, plenty of touches going forward. That doesn’t mean Charles won’t get an opportunity to break off some of the explosive plays he is known for. We wouldn’t bet against him down the stretch.
