Ja’Marr Chase went unfiltered on Sunday as he looked ahead to the Cincinnati Bengals’ Week 7 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Chase caught 10 passes for 94 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals’ 27-18 loss on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. Not even newly arrived quarterback Joe Flacco could save Cincinnati from dropping its fourth contest in a row.
After the game, Chase was asked to weigh in on the Bengals’ upcoming game against the Steelers. The All-Pro wide receiver used some pretty interesting words to describe what Pittsburgh wanted to do to Cincinnati during the contest.
“We know the Steelers are going to try to come in and raw dog us and kill us,” said Chase. “But we’re going to be ready for that challenge, and we’re going to be waiting for it.”

Fans on social media were hilariously scandalized by Chase’s wording, to say the least.

Even NFL reporters Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo couldn’t believe their ears when they heard Chase’s comments.

The Pro Bowl wide receiver may just be tired from all the losing Cincinnati has done since Joe Burrow went out with a toe injury in the Bengals’ Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chase even had to pull double duty last week, when he finished with arguably the most depressing stat line of the 2025 NFL season.
