Jameis Winston deletes crab legs picture

Jameis-Winston-crab-legs

Despite all of the off-field concerns surrounding him, Jameis Winston was still taken by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft. And rather than letting the past be the past, he decided to come out swinging with a photo of himself eating crab legs.

After he was drafted, Winston posted the photo you see above on Instagram with the following caption:

“Thanks Capt for the crab legs.”

He later deleted the photo, which makes you wonder if the Bucs have already had their first “don’t do stuff like that” chat with the former Florida State star.

We get what Winston was trying to do. He thought it would be a good idea to poke fun at his past mistakes while beginning the next phase of his life, but it would be different if he had an embarrassing story about getting bit by a crab and posted a photo with crab legs. The Bucs probably don’t want Winston making light of shoplifting, even if he insists there is a very logical explanation for the incident.
