Jameis Winston was a winner in the eyes of many before his Cleveland Browns’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers even began on Thursday night.

Winston has become beloved for his great pregame speeches. He was at it again before his team’s Week 12 home game against Pittsburgh.

“There is not a bigger stage up until now that we have the opportunity to show what we are about. … It’s about us, our individual actions, and playing our best football tonight. That’s a powerful testimony. Let’s go get it,” Winston said.

Fans also loved a quote delivered by Winston during his pregame interview with Amazon’s Kaylee Hartung.

“The horse is preparing for battle, but victory comes from the Lord,” Winston said. “Day-by-day, one play at a time. That’s the message.”
