Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers opened up a bit about his reconciliation with his family, and he credited his mysterious wife for helping make it happen.
Rodgers spoke with Kyle Brandt of NFL Network on Saturday about the bridges he is building with his once-estranged family. The quarterback confirmed that he and his family are getting along, and said his wife is a big reason why.
“A big part of it was getting married and having those conversations with my wife that allowed me to open up to the possibility of coming together,” Rodgers said. “It’s been a couple year process now, the conversations with them, but I’ve been very closed off about that part of my life and I want to keep it that way. There’s been a narrative that’s gone on too long that I wanted to shut down. It’s been really beautiful to reconnect with all of them, and I got to spend a long weekend recently in Nashville with my parents, my brother, and his sweet wife and his two kids. I got to be an uncle.
“I’ve got to give my wife a lot of credit. Not that she was pushing me, because she never was, but the way she loves and supports me. Having her by my side during this process has been really special.”

We still know virtually nothing about Rodgers’ wife, who he has identified only as Brittani. The pair were secretly married in 2025, and he has credited her with helping him make a lot of major decisions recently.
Last month, Rodgers shared photos of himself with his parents and brother Luke. He had been estranged from them for years, and the fact that they were suddenly getting along really came out of nowhere.
