New details are emerging about linebacker James Harrison’s conduct over the course of the 2017 season.
Harrison has publicly admitted that he requested his release multiple times due to a perceived lack of playing time, but reports indicate that when those requests were not granted, he resorted to other tactics to try to force the team’s hand. One tactic, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, involved loudly snoring through positional meetings.
Among ways Harrison tried to get himself out of Pittsburgh, one team source said Harrison was known to sleep in a recliner chair during position meetings and snore loudly while Joey Porter would teach.

If there is truth to anecdotes like this one, it’s no wonder some Steelers were not only happy to see Harrison go, but threw him as far under the bus as they possibly could on his way out. This is getting ugly.
