Jason Pierre-Paul getting new glove, vows to be better than ever
Jason Pierre-Paul signed a one-year deal with the New York Giants this offseason in hopes of proving he is worthy of a long-term extension, and the two-time Pro Bowler intends to do just that.
On Tuesday, Pierre-Paul told reporters he considers himself to be in the best shape of his career. He also revealed that he is getting a new custom glove for his surgically repaired hand and expects to have his best season in 2016.

Pierre-Paul is gambling on himself heading into next season. He took less money to remain with the Giants, and there had to have been at least a few teams that would have offered him a multi-year deal.
But will he be better than ever? When you read some of the horrifying details JPP recently shared about the night he mangled his hand in a fireworks accident, you might be skeptical. Pierre-Paul still faces an uphill battle.
