It has been more than six months since Jason Pierre-Paul lost part of his right hand in a fireworks accident, and the New York Giants star has slowly opened up about how serious the incident was.
A good example of that would be the photo Pierre-Paul shared on Instagram Monday afternoon, which shows his heavily bandaged hand the day after the 4th of July mishap:
It’s hard to even imagine how blood would seep through that many layers of bandaging, but you’ll get a better idea when you look at the more recent photos of JPP’s hand. Now that he has had time to reflect, Pierre-Paul realizes how fortunate he is that the damage wasn’t worse.
