Report: Jay Cutler close to deal with Dolphins
The Jay Cutler rumors continue to take twists and turns at a rapid rate.
A new report from Darren Heitner of Forbes indicates that Cutler and the Miami Dolphins are close to a deal, with family approval the only thing holding things back.

This report comes on the same day as it was reported that Cutler was heavily leaning toward remaining retired. It seems hard to believe the Dolphins would make a deal with Cutler without knowing the extent of Ryan Tannehill’s injury, but the details continue to shift. What is clear is that if Tannehill is indeed out for the season, Miami definitely wants Cutler.
