In addition to his role as a FOX Sports NFL insider, Jay Glazer trains various NFL players during the offseason. That makes his criticism of one star player even more jarring.
As part of his mailbag column for The Athletic, Glazer delivered a savage line about Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s fitness, stating that the two words don’t even belong in the same sentence.

Ouch.
That said, none of this seems to bother Roethlisberger. He’s still a reliable quarterback at 38 years old, and looks poised to come back from elbow surgery in 2020. Sure, maybe some of Roethlisberger’s peers are a bit more committed to their fitness than he is, but it doesn’t really seem to hurt him much.
