The Los Angeles Chargers’ first day of OTAs was, for a number of players, their first real exposure to new head coach Jim Harbaugh. One veteran came away with quite the impression of Harbaugh after one workout.
Linebacker Denzel Perryman was asked about Harbaugh, and made a comparison that he hoped would not get him in trouble.

“My first impression of Jim Harbaugh … I hope I don’t get in trouble for this, but he reminds me of Will Ferrell,” Perryman told the media.
You can kind of see the comparison if you squint. Plus, we do know a little bit about what Ferrell looks like addressing a team.
Harbaugh certainly does come off as larger-than-life in a lot of ways. For one, the guy is living in an RV at the moment, and seems genuinely excited about it. Plus, come on, you could totally imagine Ferrell delivering these Harbaugh quotes as a movie character.
It’s not all fun and games, as Harbaugh has been hired to turn the Chargers around. Whether he succeeds or not, it will certainly be memorable.
