Jim Tomsula gave a funny interview to CSN Bay Area on Friday where he offered very little insight about the future of the team and overall looked like he did not want to be there.
Tomsula mumbled his way through the interview, mostly because he did not want to share information.
“I’m really not going to talk about it,” he answered when asked about his plans for coaching staff hires.
Between his mumbling and dismissing, Tomsula would have been just as well off saying “next question” to everything or “we’re on to Cincinnati.”
About the only time Tomsula showed any real feeling was when he was asked about the report that he began campaigning for Jim Harbaugh’s job with the 49ers before Harbaugh was let go. It was funny hearing him call that report “ludacrist,” (and yes, he did say ludacrist).
Then just to confirm to everyone how badly he wanted to leave, he even said, “when we’re done I gotta get going.”
Hey, this man has business to attend to! He has no time for stinking interviews!
