New England Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo appears to have avoided any type of serious injury on Sunday.
After leaving his team’s win over the Miami Dolphins, Garoppolo underwent X-rays on his injured right shoulder. Kevin Duffy of MassLive.com reports that the tests came back negative.
Told that X-Rays came back negative for Jimmy Garoppolo. No broken bones.

Garoppolo was slammed to the turf by Dolphins linebacker Kiko Alonso and immediately grabbed his shoulder. You can see a video of the play here.
The Patriots nearly blew a three-possession lead after Garoppolo left, but they hung on to win 31-24. If Garoppolo is forced to miss time, rookie quarterback Jacoby Brisset would take his place.
