Teams in search of a playmaking tight end are set to get another option on the free agent market.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, tight end Jimmy Graham is expected to leave the Green Bay Packers a year before his contract was set to expire.
One potential play-maker hitting the market: #Packers TE Jimmy Graham is not expected back in Green Bay, sources say. The move with the 33-year old former free agent signing is noteable, though not a surprise for anyone involved.

This will be a move to cut salary and move on from a player who hasn’t quite been what he was in his prime. Graham caught 38 passes for 447 yards last season, the two worst marks of his career since he was a rookie. The most notable moment of his season was probably the controversial play it ended on.
Graham is 33 now and hasn’t had a double-digit touchdown season since 2017, his final year with the Seattle Seahawks. Expectations should be tempered for him, but he’ll still likely attract some interest.
