Report: Joe Mixon could need arthroscopic surgery on knee
Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon could need arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
Mixon left the Bengals’ win over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night in the first quarter due to a knee injury, though he quickly returned to the game.
A day later, NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reported that Mixon could need his knee scoped. However, the running back will get a second opinion first.
The #Bengals fear RB Joe Mixon will need arthroscopic surgery to clean up the knee he injured in last night’s win over the #Ravens and miss some time, sources tell @MikeGarafolo and me. He’ll get a second opinion first.

An arthroscopic surgery on his knee would likely take Mixon out for at least a few weeks if he were to undergo the procedure.
Mixon has rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown on 38 carries this season.
