Joey Bosa ‘absolutely’ expected to be ready for Week 1

Bosa left practice on Aug. 7 with a foot injury and has been recovering ever since. With nothing at stake in the preseason games, there is no sense on having Bosa push it and risk further injury.
The former No. 3 overall pick had 70 tackles and 12.5 sacks last season and forms a dynamic pass-rushing duo with Melvin Ingram.
