Joey Bosa left Los Angeles Chargers practice on Tuesday after suffering a left foot injury.
ESPN reporter Eric Williams says Bosa suffered the injury during 11-on-11 drills and received treatment after hobbling off the field.
Bosa, the No. 3 overall pick in 2016, is entering his third season in his league. He has already made his mark in the NFL, racking up 23 sacks in 28 regular season games. He missed the first four games of his rookie season due to a hamstring injury after his contract holdout.
Bosa and Melvin Ingram team up on the Chargers to form one of the best pass-rushing duos in the NFL. Optimism is high for the team after they went 9-3 to finish last season.
