The Los Angeles Chargers may be getting closer to having one of their stars return to the field.

According to coach Anthony Lynn, pass rusher Joey Bosa will practice on a limited basis on Wednesday, a major step in his return from a foot injury.

Big news from the #Chargers: Coach Anthony Lynn says star pass-rusher Joey Bosa is going to practice today in a limited capacity. He may need some time to get in football shape. But very positive news.

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 14, 2018

Bosa almost certainly won’t play this weekend, and will need a good amount of time to get back in game shape after missing the entire season up to this point and not practicing since Week 1. This is, however, a clear sign that he should be able to play this season barring any setbacks, which is huge news for the Chargers.

As of a few weeks ago, Bosa wasn’t anywhere near this point. Something clearly changed for the better, and we will now wait to see how he holds up in practice and when he may be able to play in a game.
