Joey Bosa unlikely to return before Week 9
Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa looks set to miss the entire month of November.
Bosa said Wednesday that he doesn’t anticipate returning to action until after the team’s Week 8 bye. That means the earliest Bosa could return on the current timeline would be Nov. 4.

Bosa has yet to play in 2018 with a bone bruise in his foot. The previous timeline had him possibly returning in October, but even that looks too optimistic now.
Bosa had 23 sacks in his first two NFL seasons. The Chargers are hanging in there without him, but they’ll be eagerly awaiting his return to action.
