Joey Bosa out until October, could need foot surgery
Joey Bosa’s new foot injury appears to be quite serious.
Bosa missed the Los Angeles Chargers’ opener against the Kansas City Chiefs and has already been ruled out for Week 2. Now ESPN’s Adam Schefter says that Bosa will be out until October due to his foot injury.
Schefter reports that Bosa is rehabbing his foot and hoping that the swelling goes down. But if it does not, surgery has not been ruled out.
Bosa’s current foot injury is a new one from the one he suffered earlier in training camp.
The 23-year-old defensive end has 23 sacks in two NFL seasons and was expected to team with Melvin Ingram to form one of the best defensive pass rushes in the league.
