Johnny Manziel says he was victim of hit-and-run
Johnny Manziel was involved in another car accident earlier this week, only this time he says he was the victim of a hit-and-run.
On Wednesday, TMZ shared a photo that showed Manziel’s white Nissan with significant damage to the driver’s side and the air bags deployed. Manziel’s rep Denise Michaels later told the gossip publication that the NFL free agent’s car was smashed by someone who drove away.
“Johnny told me his car was T-boned and the driver just rode away right after,” Michaels said. “He reported it to police.”
Manziel told police on Monday night that he has an impartial witness who can attest to his story. Michaels said Manziel hit his head in the crash but did not suffer any serious injuries.
This is the second car accident Manziel has been involved in over the last two months or so, as he was reportedly a passenger in a hit-and-run back in April. Manziel is still in a dispute with a rental car company owner over that incident and was confronted over money he supposedly promised he would pay. You can see footage from that confrontation here.
