Johnny Manziel reportedly passenger in hit and run incident, picked up by Josh Gordon
Johnny Manziel was reportedly the passenger in a vehicle that was involved in an alleged hit and run over the weekend.
According to TMZ Sports, Manziel was interviewed by police over the incident that occurred in Los Angeles on Saturday night, with the car in question being driven by Manziel’s good friend Ryan Silverstein, who is also a member of Drake’s crew.
Silverstein and Manziel both allegedly fled the scene on foot and were picked up by Browns receiver Josh Gordon, who, by the way, is currently fighting a losing battle to be reinstated by the NFL. The pair apparently returned to the scene when cops arrived and witnesses recognized Silverstein as the driver.
Manziel reportedly told police that he was a passenger, but neither he nor Gordon has been accused of any wrongdoing. Silverstein is being investigated for a possible misdemeanor hit and run.
Notably, this incident took place on the same night that TMZ cameras caught Manziel claiming that he hadn’t been doing anything stupid and was living with Von Miller, which turned out to be not true. How does the saying go? With friends like these, who needs enemies?
