Jordan Love gave Green Bay Packers fans a mini-scare during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets after he was seen on broadcast shaking his right hand.
But he finished the contest and helped Green Bay record a 20-17 win at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
Shortly after the game, Love allayed fears about his throwing hand.
“It’s good. Just took a hit. Went a little numb, but it’s good,” the Packers star quarterback said when asked about his hand during a postgame interview on the field, via NFL on FOX.
"One play at a time, and just keep fighting."

In the postgame press conference, Love said a hit to his elbow caused the numbness, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
Despite the punishment he absorbed, Love threw two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 16/29 passing. He was sacked three times for a loss of nine yards and had a fumble recovered, but Green Bay finally got a win and avoided what would have been an alarming 0-2 start to its season.
Running back MarShawn Lloyd and wide receiver Christian Watson caught Love’s touchdown passes in the first and fourth quarters, respectively.
The 27-year-old Love’s status will still be under scrutiny, especially with the Packers having a short week ahead. They return to action Thursday against the Atlanta Falcons at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.
