Josh Gordon inactive for Patriots in Week 3

Josh Gordon will have to wait at least a week to make his New England Patriots debut.

Gordon was listed as a Patriots inactive when the report came out Sunday ahead of New England’s Sunday night game at the Detroit Lions.

Those who watched Gordon in pregame warmups were not surprised by the turn of events. ESPN’s Dianna Russini reported that Gordon essentially did a light workout without pads and didn’t look anywhere near ready to go.

Gordon may not play Sunday, but it’s not a total loss. Apparently he had a very good week and impressed the staff, and they’ll hope he’s good to go for Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins.
