Josh McCown hoping to play against Jets
The Cleveland Browns have been completely decimated by the injury bug at the quarterback position this year, but help could be on the way for this weekend’s game against the New York Jets.
Josh McCown told reporters on Wednesday that he is optimistic he will be able to play in Week 8.

McCown started in Week 2 after Robert Griffin III went down in the week prior, and the veteran suffered a fractured collarbone in that game. With rookie Cody Kessler now in the concussion protocol, the Browns will likely be forced to start undrafted free agent Kevin Hogan if McCown is held out another week.
It became clear how tough McCown is when he tried to play through his significant injury earlier this year, so you know he wants to get back out there. He clearly gives the Browns their best chance at finally winning a game.
