Smith-Schuster was down on the field after being hit. He was helped off the field and into the locker room. Smith-Schuster was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion.
A penalty flag was thrown on the play, though it was roughing the passer. The Steelers eventually turned the ball over on downs on the possession.
Smith-Schuster had two catches for 21 yards in the game prior to suffering the concussion. He joined James Conner as key offensive players who were knocked out of the game. Artie Burns and Ola Adeniyi suffered injuries on the defensive side.
