Steelers RB James Conner leaves first game back with shoulder injury
James Conner’s return to the Pittsburgh Steelers did not last long.
Conner returned to action for the Steelers after missing two games with a shoulder injury suffered in a Monday night win over the Dolphins. However, he aggravated the shoulder injury and left Thursday night’s contest against the Cleveland Browns in the first half.
Conner was termed questionable to return to the game.

Conner had 5 carries for 10 yards and one catch for six yards before exiting. In his previous game against the Dolphins, he had rushed for a season-high 145 yards.
Conner’s injury left Jaylen Samuels and Trey Edmunds to pick up the carries for Pittsburgh’s struggling offense.
