New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has been hit with one of the bigger fines of the NFL season for repeated instances of unnecessary roughness.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Edelman was hit with three fines for three separate plays, totaling in excess of $63,000 for his actions in Week 16.

Edelman also made a big play in a key moment during the game, so it’s fair to say he had a pretty big week. He will, however, be left lighter in the wallet after already losing close to $1 million in 2018 salary thanks to an early-season suspension.
