Tom Brady officially became eligible to rejoin the New England Patriots when his suspension was lifted on Monday, and his return could not come at a better time.
Brady’s teammates are in need of a boost after a brutal 16-0 home loss to the Buffalo Bills. Naturally, no one is more excited than Julian Edelman.

The Patriots had no passing offense on Sunday without Brady. Even when they managed to stomp on the Houston Texans the week before, that was due in large part to a great game plan and costly mistakes from their opponent. Any ridiculous talk of Jimmy Garoppolo stealing Brady’s job for good seems like a distant memory.
If you remember what Edelman said a month ago about Brady being suspended, you know how excited he is to have his quarterback and best buddy back in the locker room. It’s safe to assume there are 51 other guys who feel the same way.
