Kaelin Clay drops sure touchdown for Panthers (Video)
The Carolina Panthers made some costly mistakes in the first quarter of their wild-card playoff game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Carolina had a 3rd-and-2 situation at the New Orleans 7-yard line in the first quarter, and Cam Newton threw a pass to Kaelin Clay in the end zone. Clay let the ball go through his hands for a drop on what should have been a touchdown:

As if that weren’t bad enough, Graham Gano then missed a 25-yard field goal on the next play. Then making things even worse, two plays later the Saints completed a bomb to Ted Ginn for an 80-yard touchdown to go up 7-3.
What if I told you that was actually the second-worst drop of Clay’s career?
