Kevin Harlan is so, so good at his job. The guy is smooth as a play-by-play announcer, has excellent energy, and a sense of humor to match. One need only listen to this clip of him calling the black cat on the field during the second quarter of “Monday Night Football” to see all that in action.

I almost lost it when he announced that the cat had scored a touchdown.
I loved Harlan’s call of a streaker on the field during a game three years ago, and this one matched it. This guy is the best.
