Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings didn’t just beat the Atlanta Falcons handily in Week 1 on Sunday. They also rubbed things in with a trolling touchdown dance.
Cousins’ Vikings took a 28-0 lead on the visiting Falcons before allowing 12 points in the fourth quarter and winning 28-12. In the second quarter, Cousins went into the end zone for a 1-yard touchdown. Afterwards, he and his teammates celebrated by doing the “Bankhead Bounce” dance:

That wasn’t a “dad dance” as some tried to joke. The Bankhead Bounce is a dance that began in the ’90s in Bankhead, which is on the west side of Atlanta, Georgia. Cousins and his teammates didn’t pull that one out coincidentally; they knew what they were doing and rubbed it in against the Dirty Birds.
The Vikings won so easily that Cousins barely had to do much work. He went 8/10 for 98 yards and a touchdown pass. He also rushed for four yards including that TD.
