The Houston Texans lost one of their key players during the first quarter against the New York Jets.
Running back Lamar Miller rolled his ankle on just his third carry of the game. He limped off the field, and the Texans listed him as questionable to return.

Miller’s injury didn’t look extreme, but it could definitely be bothersome enough to be a factor for the rest of the game, at the very least. He was well on his way to becoming a thousand-yard rusher, potentially as soon as Saturday had he been able to stay healthy. That looks unlikely now, and the hope is that he’ll be able to return to action before the day is out.
