Lane Johnson has tribute for Jason Peters during intros
Lane Johnson made sure that one of his teammates was not forgotten amid the hoopla of the Super Bowl.
When Johnson ran onto the field with his teammates for Super Bowl LII, he was holding up a No. 71 Philadelphia Eagles jersey as a tribute to teammate Jason Peters.
Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters had never been part of a playoff win in his first 13 seasons. He was injured earlier this year, but his team is taking him with them. https://t.co/50k7P9Dbjp #SB52 pic.twitter.com/vFIQy6ngub

Peters, who was the team’s starting left tackle, suffered a serious knee injury in October that knocked him out for the season.
Peters, a 9-time Pro Bowler, is still under contract for the next two seasons. He joined the team in Minneapolis and partook in some of the Super Bowl week media activities.
