LeGarrette Blount out for season with hip injury
New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount will reportedly miss the remainder of the season after suffering a hip injury during Sunday’s win over the Houston Texans.

Blount left the game in the first half and was able to walk to the locker room under his own power. However, he was spotted walking around on Tuesday with the help of crutches. Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com reports that the Patriots are still trying to determine if Blount will be able to play in the postseason.
Pats still gathering info on LeGarrette Blount. It may still be possible he could be back at some point in playoffs. Timetable still unclear

Losing Blount is another significant blow to a New England offense that has dealt with numerous injuries throughout the course of the season. Dion Lewis, who had emerged as the Patriots’ best backfield player, is already done for the year with a torn ACL. Julian Edelman is likely out until the playoffs. Fortunately the Patriots got Rob Gronkowski back after just one week without him.
The Patriots are left incredibly thin at running back and without their best power runner. Brandon Bolden and James White, who have just 51 rushing attempts between them this season, will likely carry the load down the stretch.
