Leonard Fournette not expected to play vs. Titans
Leonard Fournette sat out last weekend’s game against the New England Patriots as he nurses a hamstring issue, and the Jacksonville Jaguars star is expected to do the same on Sunday.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Fournette will likely miss Sunday’s divisional showdown with the Tennessee Titans.
Jaguars’ RB update:
TJ Yeldon expected to play today.
Leonard Fournette not expected to play today, per league sources.
Jaguars going to play it safe with Fournette.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 23, 2018
Fournette’s hamstring injury has been described as minor, so the Jaguars are likely just playing it safe. It’s the type of injury that could nag throughout the season if he tries to play through it, and it really doesn’t make sense to push it this early in the year.
