Lions GM goes viral for his fiery celebration after playoff win
Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes went viral for his celebration after his team’s 24-23 win over the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs on Sunday in Detroit.
The Lions won their first playoff game in 32 years, which made the team and its fans elated. Adding even more meaning to the win was that Holmes and Jared Goff were among the Lions who had come from the Rams. The big win came over their former team.
Holmes showed some serious energy and fire while celebrating in an elevator after the game. WNEM’s Mark Pearson captured a video showing Holmes’ celebration:

Holmes, 44, began his NFL career as a public relations intern with the Rams in 2003. 20 years later, he built a team that helped the Lions win their first playoff game in 32 years.
It’s been a long road for Holmes, and his emotion shined through.
