Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs got awesome Sonic the Hedgehog remix
Detroit Lions running backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery have embraced their new “Sonic and Knuckles” nickname, and the internet is now taking it to the next level.
David Montgomery said during a recent interview with CBS Sports HQ that he has seen people calling him and Gibbs “Sonic and Knuckles,” which of course is a reference to famous video-game characters. Like Gibbs, Sonic the Hedgehog is known for his blazing speed. Knuckles, who is Sonic’s partner, has tremendous strength, not unlike Montgomery.
All of that talk led to an incredible remix of Gibbs’ best run during Detroit’s win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday:

Gibbs and Montgomery both have their own roles in the Lions’ offense. It is rare for two running backs to be so productive with the same team, but they complement each other perfectly. The Sonic and Knuckles nickname suits them well.
