Titans place big offseason addition on injured reserve
In a move that sums up their season in many ways, the Tennessee Titans are placing their big offseason acquisition on injured reserve.
Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is being placed on injured reserve due to a quad strain, the team confirmed Friday. Coach Brian Callahan said Sneed could still return before the end of the season.

The Titans acquired Sneed from the Kansas City Chiefs during the offseason and gave him a hefty contract to join them. They have not really been rewarded for it, as Sneed has played in just five games without making a significant impact. He has 23 total tackles on the season, but has yet to intercept a pass.
The Titans are just 2-8 this season and have regressed from the 6-11 mark they posted in 2023. Moves that have not worked out like this one are a significant reason for that.
