The Tennessee Titans say it’s too early to tell whether quarterback Marcus Mariota will be able to play in next Sunday’s win-and-in regular season finale.
Mariota left Saturday’s game late in the first half and did not return with what the team characterized as a stinger. Head coach Mike Vrabel said Monday that Mariota feels better than he did the last time he suffered the injury, but it’s still unclear if he’ll be able to play in Week 17.

The Titans are facing essentially a playoff game to make the playoffs against the Indianapolis Colts, so they’ll do everything they can to get Mariota ready. Much of it will likely come down to how he feels on a day-to-day basis this week.
