Mark Davis showed alarming lack of sentiment about Raiders moving out of Oakland

Mark Davis

The Oakland Raiders on Sunday played their final home game at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum before moving to Las Vegas. The final game was an emotional time for many of the team’s local fans, but owner Mark Davis did not share the same nostalgia.

On Sunday, Davis gave this answer to a question about whether he had any nostalgia about the final game at the stadium.

Davis shrugging things off shows an alarming lack of empathy for the team’s fans in the Bay Area.

Sure, the Coliseum was problematic and the team is leaving for a better financial situation, but not acknowledging the history and memories there was a bad look for Davis.

Some Raiders fans got rowdy after the final game, which was a 20-16 loss to the Jaguars. They booed quarterback Derek Carr and threw trash onto the field, among other things.
