Marshawn Lynch is one of the toughest running backs in the NFL and among the hardest to bring down after initial contact. He had that legendary touchdown run against the Saints in the playoffs during the 2010 season, and he just added another impressive one to his resume.
Lynch was stood up by about three Raiders on a first quarter run Sunday in Seattle, but he continued to push forward. He got some support from teammates who helped push him forward, and he made it into the end zone for a 3-yard TD run to make it 7-3.
There usually isn’t anything special about 3-yard touchdown runs, but this was a thing of beauty. The Seahawks are going to miss Marshawn when he’s gone next season.
