Marshawn Lynch trade to Raiders reportedly ‘will happen’
Marshawn Lynch and the Oakland Raiders reportedly have agreed to terms on a contract, and the running back is expected to be traded to Oakland.
Lynch has been working towards a return to the NFL and there were multiple reports saying he wanted to play for his hometown Raiders. NFL Media’s Michael Silver reported on Friday that Lynch and the Raiders have agreed to terms on a contract.
Lynch’s rights are still held by the Seattle Seahawks, who need to work out a trade with the Raiders. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says that will happen.
Per @MikeSilver, Marshawn Lynch and the #Raiders have agreed to terms. Now the ball is in #Seahawks court for a trade, which will happen.

Lynch last played during the 2015 season, but was limited by injuries. He sat out all of last season, announcing his retirement during the Super Bowl.
News of the back reaching a deal with the Raiders is not a surprise given the tweet he sent on Thursday night.
