Matt Ryan could reportedly draw trade interest from 2 teams
The Atlanta Falcons have entered the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes, and there appears to be mutual interest between them and the star quarterback. Should a deal come together, the Falcons would then have to figure out what to do with Matt Ryan. There may be a couple of QB-needy teams monitoring the situation.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Tuesday that the Falcons are serious about trying to land Watson. If their pitch is successful, Schefter envisions two teams expressing interest in a potential Ryan trade — the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts.
Adam mentions the #Colts and the #Seahawks as a few teams that could show potential mutual interest in Matt Ryan in the situation he is likely to be traded following a hypothetical Watson trade.

The Seahawks traded Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. They are among the teams that have been linked to Watson, but the three-time Pro Bowler has reportedly turned them down. Watson has a no-trade clause, so the Houston Texans are working with him to find a new team.
Indianapolis traded Carson Wentz and is once again searching for a QB. Ryan could be the same type of short-term solution that they had with Philip Rivers two years ago. The Colts were said to be interested in another veteran quarterback, but it doesn’t sound like anything will come of that.
The Falcons recently agreed to a restructured contract with Ryan, but Schefter noted on Tuesday that the deal still has not been signed. That could eliminate one potential obstacle in Atlanta’s pursuit of Watson.
