Micah Parsons is sending a message to one of the other teams sitting atop the NFC East right now.
The Washington Commanders, who have not had a winning season since 2016 and are rolling with a new starting quarterback in Sam Howell, are off to a surprising 2-0 start to 2023. In a post to X on Monday, Commanders receiver Jahan Dotson flexed the team’s record by writing, “2-0” with a yawning emoji.
2-0 🥱

That drew a response from the Dallas Cowboys defensive star Parsons. He replied to Dotson’s tweet by warning, “Im [sic] coming…”

While Washington has taken care of business to start the season, their two victories have been one-possession wins against lesser, injury-riddled teams (the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos). Meanwhile, the Cowboys (who are 2-0 themselves) have pummeled teams right out of the gate, winning their first two games by a combined 60 points.
The good news for the Commanders is that they won’t have to face Parsons and the Cowboys until Week 12 (before getting a second matchup in Week 18). But Parsons, who is coming out with a vengeance this year and already has three sacks and a forced fumble in two games, will certainly be looking forward to those dates with Washington.
